I totally agree about RvB. It's strength was in very clever dialogue and visual jokes, not bland CGI action and embarrassingly awkward drama. High production values mean nothing if your creation lacks a consistent and specific vision. If you try to appeal to everybody then I don't think it's art any more. It's just business.That's why Arby n the Chief is my favourite machinima. It's filmed in 360p and has still managed to bring me to tears in the last two seasons.The new site design looks nice btw.
You should enjoy Season 11 of RvB then, it starts this Friday and from what I've read is going back to the classic formula.I've never gotten into Arby for some reason, just something about it rubs me up the wrong way. You're not the only person who has mentioned it's brought them to tears though, so I'll make an effort to check it out again.Thanks for the kind words!
