Hey guys great episode! I really enjoyed your discussion on Team Throwdown and what would be most fair in the world of competitive Halo. Hope to hear another episode soon!
drunken halo is lame! lol. throwdown is amazing just because of the fact that a kill equals 1 point. it's good to see a score of 25-30 vs 250-300. I hate the how they are labeling points...especially when they don't need to!!!
It's just not necessary any more in Team throwdown. I got what they're doing with regards to Infinity game types but I've got to be honest and agree. The old system just sits better with me in terms of Immediate clarity.
P.S. With regards to PGCR who was that "Big Heeb" character you had on recently? I've been listening for years and I've never heard him on the show before. You guys seemed to know him?
Perhaps I misunderstood what you two were getting at when talking about the Babysitter, but I don't think the ruins had to to with the Librarian re-seeding humanity in different parts of the galaxy. Rather, I'm guessing that they were built by the original group of humans (before the Human-Forerunner War) who lost the war and therefore "disappeared." I definitely have to re-read Primordium, because I didn't fully understand it the first time.
I may have to look into this closer. I'd like to re-read both Cryptum and Primordium before Silentium any way. And after that it's probably time for a close look at the Pre History of the Halo universe looking at the books, terminals AND Legends episodes... sheesh that sounds like a LOT of work.
You could well be right though. Still not sure where Tom is coming from?
Great episode gents. I really enjoyed the SPOPS coverage. I am very much looking forward to the Spartan Ops extravaganza you mentioned in this episode. Thanks for all the hard work. Metalhead593
Me and Tom are struggling with our duties regarding the internet right now. Stupid REAL life if interfering with both of us(I'm currently moving house, dealing with some minor but time consuming family stuff and have actually lost my bloody voice!). Will be back as soon as the opportunity arises.
2 million offline in the first week, another 7 million by the end of the first month. Only one thing is certain... If DaE doesn't get another episode soon... there won't be an internet left to save.
Your guys' thoughts on what might happen are wrong, because they're not my thoughts and feelings. >.<
ReplyDeleteHearing this increases my confidence no end.
DeleteYou can't imagine the smile on my face when the Hayabusa song started.
ReplyDelete"OH HAAAAAAAYYYABUSA, IT'S JUST NOT WHAT YOU'RE USE' TA!"
DESTINY AWAITS!
Tom did good with that find! I hadn't actually heard it before so it made me chuckle to!

ReplyDeleteThis theory makes a lot of sense too...

ReplyDeleteWe getting there... slowly. Holding of breath is NOT advised. But we're still alive.

ReplyDeleteWhile this is obviously over dramatic it is indeed 100% true. Will DaE act fast enough? CAN they act fast enough?
DeleteProbably not...
Are you guys still alive? :(
ReplyDeleteI've tried listening to other podcasts to fill the void, but they're just not English enough.
