This week we cover everything we'd seen up until Sunday night (so not Saturday's panel - link is below if you missed it too), including Forward Unto Dawn and numerous campaign, Spartan Ops and multiplayer reveals!
You'll know you're at the halfway point this week as I have a mini-meltdown (Woaf spares you the majority of the awkwardness!). Lesson learnt: don't record late at night when you're very tired! We laugh about it now.

It got pretty heated during the middle lol. I agree with Woaf though, there's a lot to making a performance, and not everyone can do all of those things. If you watch behind the scenes stuff for games or animated movies, the voice actors often swing their arms about to get the best voice performance out, and you couldn't really do that on screen.

Actually, forget what I said, that would be hilarious.
Hah! Tom was too harsh on him self in the shownotes! I was also very tired and a little stressed that time and as well as a little humour deficient. I think we're going to aim for an earlier record time next week!

Oh my! I have not listened yet but this excites me! Arguments are just passionate conversations as long as they don't go further afterwards. I can't wait to listen ( : You guys are doing a tremendous job!

DeleteI'm afraid Dust and Echoes practice the English style of arguing. It is infinitely more subtle than the American style and can be hard to spot to those not trained in the art.
DeleteMuch can be said with a simple raised eyebrow or thinned lip.
These subtleties are obviously lost in an audio format but you can still notice the intonation on certain parts of a sentence such as "I see" (the emphasis on the word "see" filling in for "I see I'm dealing with a simpleton) and "very good" (meaning "Well done for grasping so pathetically to such a moronic viewpoint") or the absolutely devastating elongated "yes" (which means "I can't believe you put forth such a simplistic counter-intuitive argument are you trying to prove me right?").
In the future I may underlay some music to highlight any further disagreements for the aid of our international audience.

hmmmm, you need to fit in some american slang like "Shut the blam up" and "are you serious? You can't really be that stupid!" You should try it on for once. It's quite invigorating ( :
